I have an old NOS aluminum part pump for a SBC. It has the part number on it, but I am having trouble finding any info on it. Can anyone out there help out?
This is the part number cast into it: 14041008 and here are some pics of it.

I found P/N 14047008 - any chance your "1" is actually a "7" ? If so, it for an '84-'91 350-8 Corvette, according to the book "Cars & Parts Chevy V8 Engine Casting Numbers 1955-1993".

I believe you are right about the '1' actually being a '7' upon closer inspection.
    Thanks.
