After Primer Nats, Dan Collins had a nice little open house at his new shop space for Old Gold. Great food, people, cars and of course a great time!

Thanks for the having the gathering! Now go build some more awesome stuff!

It's not a party until someone has a little work to do! This was the right place to do it!

That was us working on the T. Its really the first time I take it out farther than 15 miles. It was a real learning experience though, I see now that I have to re-do a few things!
One of the through-bolts on the coupler that goes on the back of the drive shaft sheared off. It sounded pretty bad on the freeway on the way up. At least the motor, tranny and rear end are still good. Ill probably get that tool to put those rivet deals instead of bolts. they are lower profile and shouldn't scrape like the bolts.
My U-joint was also on its way out. I think the pinion angle is a little too severe even for the torque tube set up. Ill have to mess with it.

Thanks a lot Dan for the Jack/jackstands!

Hey Bob.... how the hell do you do that????? Everytime I try and take a driving pic I almost crash my car... I took a few driving up to ventura friday morning and found myslef like two lanes over from where I started!!! Maybe you should have a driving photography class.... or maybe I should just keep both hands on the wheel and leave it to the professionals

    I have a question.

In the first pic is a 59A Flattie on an engine stand and it looks like it is mounted to the bellhousing??? Thought that was no no due to cracking the bell. I mount mine with an exhaust manifold adaptor. Is there something there I am missing???

  19. PapaWolf was giving me the scoop on his 39 Sedan. It used to be the push-car for a flathead dragster. When the dragster was wrecked the flatty was put in the 39! You should hear it run,YEEHAW! It's fruckin great...
