    Hello,

My father gave me his old Gracor Power and Speed Equipment jacket. (feels like Satin) On the front his name is embroidered along with an old Sprint car. On the back it has Grancor Power and Speed etc.
Its yellowed a bit with age but otherwise in great condition.

He was born in 34 and lived on the South side of Chicago up until the 50's.

Does anyone have any info on this jacket? Please feel free to email me at nordf4@aol.com

I'll try to attach a pic.

Try contacting Andy Granatelli at: mrindy500@yahoo.com

Be sure to include photos of the jacket to increase your odds of getting a reply. He usually doesn't answer common questions, but he may want to reply to you.

I grew up in Chicago in the fifties and would have killed for a Grancor jacket like that !It probably dates to the late Forties and the car on the front most likely is a Midget, rather than a Sprint car.
