I went the other way, I had a 46 pickup and a 60 Ford 4x4 that I drove everyday. I had never owned a modern car. Updated to a nice 72 F-250 4x4 highboy and now have a 96 F-250 4x4 :D I use it for work though, pulling trailers and such...old rigs are nice in good weather, but when you gotta pull a trailer in a couple feet of snow...

Here is a few quickies from my phone. That was some pretty neat lighting towards the end.

I wish I could have a truck like either one of those but I can't so I'm glad you guys have them and take care of them. They're just a cool window to the past and a different time. Maybe or maybe not a better time but for sure different and maybe a touch slower. Thanks for the great pix.

i drop about 300 pounds of sand bags over the rear axle of my 2wd '67 f100, and it rolls through anything a new england winter can dish out. but i only have to worry about hauling a snow blower to my mom's and stuff like that.

Heres some of my trucks I've had. I love old 4x4's, but when your towing a trailer to Seattle (270 miles each way), in the snow or heat, it's nice to have A/C, heat, cruise, wipers, etc. I know, call me a wuss :D
