History old guys

Always felt like a newer guy, but all of a sudden it's been 18 years, Turning 60 this year.
On here several times a day, not much else on the internet worth looking at.

 

When the forum started getting going. Don't care if you were 10. Sorry if the Old Guys triggers you LOL

 

I believe I joined on March 12, 2001 so that's 24 years and a few months. 82 and still building stuff.

 

You guys aren't old.
I'm old.
You guys are vintage.
And rare.
And well built.
Made with quality materials.

 

That's quite the art...and you both are really skilled at that. I just checked out your video and I've seen Highlander's work before.

I'm young by Hamb standards but getting older every day I wake up......I'm an 07 so kinda old but not part of the older guard by that means either. Hope your issues pacify and I wish you nothing but health and happiness moving forward.

 

I've been here for 24 years. Jeezuz? Where did all the years go? I don't know nothing else. So, I'll just keep on doin' what I've been doing.

 

I've been here over 23 years. I did not log in for several years, and I recently returned. All my posted stuff was gone, and I no longer appeared as a member. I noticed many names are missing, Brian Bass, Chris, DRD57 (Tony Miller), Dean Lowe to name a few. Tony's social group "The Old Farts Club" and the Hot Rod Veterans, founded by Doug and Ed, all gone. The Technical thread seems to be missing. The Tech thread was a treasure, and I hope it is not lost forever.

 

We all formally joined Ryan's World within two weeks of each other. I lurked for months before I was brave enough to jump in, the old HAMB was intimidating for a FNG! @Dreddybear and a handful of other still-active Hambers joined within a couple months, early 2007. Long Live the HAMB!

I initially joined in 2002, but had to delete that account and made a new one in 2007. Still alot of good content and I connect a few times every month, but I miss those golden years for sure!

 

Going on 20 years here ...

 

Nov. 7 will be 19 years for me. 83 yrs old and still hot roddin.

At 83, I have learned one thing : You won't feel better next year.

Do it now while you still can.

 

If I am still kicking a month from now I will be starting my 77th orbit of the Sun. I've been enjoying this site for over sixteen years now. As a good friend of mine says, "This getting old ain't for sissies!"
