Old Hillclimb Photo

    I thought this picture might appeal to certain HAMBers, particularly those with fenderless sedans.

    I don't remember where I got this picture. I believe the car is a Stutz, and that the hillclimb is Pike's Peak.

    This last summer on the trip from Bville to the HAMB drags we stopped by Pikes Peak. After driving up it myself if figure they must be f'n nuts to race up that so called "road". I definitely developed some new found respect for those who have done it.

    If the car in the picture is a Stutz, it is a 1927 or close by that.

    Sounds about right. Other pictures that I got from the same site are of old "bobtails" which I think date to the late 20's - early 30's.

    Wouldn't that sedan be cool on the street? Kinda like a stretched model A.
