Has any body ever seen an old Holley like this? It is a double pumper, but the shooters are in the center of the carb, one shooter 4 nozzles. It shoots fuel to all of the barrels? The choke horn is gone, so I can't get the list number. I am open to Ideas on this one. Thanks

I have one like this at home. I'll check out the list number tonight, but I'm thinking it is big, like an 850 or something.

I think it might be a 4223, which has those float bowls, and is an 850 center squirter...as best I can tell. It was discontinued a long time ago, although there are some companies making an aftermarket copy

Squirrel hit it right. One thing about the center squiters are the linkage is 1to1 , meaning that the front and rear barrels open at the same time. This carb was desinged to be used on racing applications. Some factory cars were equipped with them but as far as I know they were the likes of the 427 corvettes, 427 camaros etc. and were so equipped when oredered with drag racing options. I'm not 100% sure, but believe they were all dealer equipped carbs when on GM cars. They do make for good tunnel ram carbs, but on most single 4 set-ups and low/mid rise dual quads they are not that great when used on the street. You can make them work, but they are by far a lot harder to get tuned in for street use compared to standard double pumpers. Just my pennies worth.....
