It’s solid and I couldn’t be happier. Think the last time it saw pavement was mid-70s in rodeo parades in Tucumcari. Paint, upholstery, chrome, most of car untouched and done around 61-62. (Full story in my other thread) 57 283, 97s, 3:54s in a 40 rear, everything I had to add or rebuild is pretty period perfect without being an asshole about it. Keystone slots w/slicks, old steel chrome fake Moons to me fits 1963 when the 16 year old kid who built it finished it. And also fits what I call the AMT/Monogram look that I love. Stoked!

I don’t, they are cheap and thin as hell and probably gonna fall off soon! But I always wanted some just like it.

As I was looking at the pics I kept thinking, "I built one of those in the 70's".
That's a hard one to beat in the cool dept.

Love it. What a great time capsule. I had one of those chrome moon type caps back in about 59-60.

Cool. that does take you right back to the late 60's early 70's and looks better than most of them.
