Such a neat little car. That picture from overhead looking down on it on the last page is so cool. Bet it's more comfortable with the new steering wheel angle
Is that possibility the T Bucket that used to be in the basement at Keating X Rd store? My Father used to talk about it...
Which T Bucket are you referring to? The one on page 8 or the one on page 12? If it's the one on page 8, I don't think so. But could be I don't know what happened to it after I sold it in 1960. The one on page 12 was in the Western Speedway museum for a few years. Looked a lot different then. Present owner has totally rebuilt it. Don't know it's history before that.
Nope, but it was a good swap meet and car show! I am looking for a two carb manifold like this one for the flattie I builtup with the Edmunds heads. Don't know where a guy could find one do you? Hmmm
As a matter of fact I do, but I won't sell it. Nice try though. I do have a really nice Fenton 2 carb that I'm not using now that I have the Weiand. With or without rebuilt 97's. Call me
The Chevbucket sat in a basement of a duplex on Keating X road not a store, for a few years in the 1970's.
Couple of grainy pics of my old T-Bucket I had in 1959 and 1960. You can see an old 8mm clip of me driving it on page 8 of this thread.
Dennis aka H.A.M.B. member oldschool55 is making a 1/8 scale model of my old hot rod. This is where he is at so far. You can see some of his work on page 8 of this thread.
Just tell him to make it 7 times bigger so that when he’s done you can take it for a drive. You’d be right back in 1959 before you knew it
This show was put on by long time Victoria car enthusiast (Mr. Pontiac) John Buck. Great job John! Hope there is another one next year. Must have been close to 200 great cars there.
