Hot Rods ***Old Hot Rod Tattersfield Air Filter Find, Need some Info please!!***

Hey Guys, Well I picked up a pretty rare Tattersfield air filter today and would like to know if anybody has any info or history on these things. I think they look really cool and does anybody have any pictures of some on cars? I have never seen one before. I mounted up to my tattersfield 2x2 high rise intake. Please post any info you might have because it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We got 3 of them sitting in the shop right now. They are kinda rare...

 

Pretty rare & they came painted a shade of blue. A friend of mine has a NOS one, so I know they came painted & were oil filled.I have yet to talk him out of it tho.

haha noo I wish!! I got it at the Turlock swap meet with a lot of other cool parts. This is my favorite though.
