Joined the board a few weeks back. I live in northern Illinois. I'm building a T-Bucket and just finished a 1/4 midget sidewalk racer from the 1930's. I like Miller indy cars, my grandfather had two. The one in the Avatar is a 1924 122 with a 91 engine in it. I also like 60's drag cars.

Hi & welcome from Texas. Brings back memories as my dad had a 1/4 midget dirt track racer back just before & after WW2. I have no clue what brand it was but it did run a 4 cyl Offy engine. Went to many 1/4 midget & stock car races with him in the 40's - 50's in Shreveport La. They had a 1/2 mile dirt oval with an inner 1/4 mile dirt oval inside that shared the front straight away in front of the grandstand.

Welcome from Huntsville Alanbama. You will be surprised that we have several threads on Millers and old Indy cars. In the past the head of the indy measum was a regular poster here and a few who raced at indy as a driver of crew man. around my parts a 1/4 Midget was for the kids and powered by a lawn mower engine and the grown ups had 1/2 midget had motorcycle power plants 3/4 were mostly crosley and outboard powered cars and full cars V8 60 and offies.

WELCOME! Please post some info on your Grandfather and his Millers! I've got some original Miller literature, always good the read about those cars and owners. Bob
