Jeff thanks for the compliments on the car. It is the same old 283 and 39 trans(although the cluster gear and first reverse slider has changed a few times:)). I have wanted the car since I was 9 years old. I bought it 2 years ago took it apart and painted it. It is the most fun to drive of all my cars and my 5 year old son thinks the same, love that scream of the motor and shifting that chrome 39 shift handle while lookin out that chopped windshield just cant get that felling drivin modern*****.;)

Here is the interior this is a couple years old. The dash no longer has flames just glossy black.

  27. Well as for just plane old 'Inspiration' itself I know where that went a long time ago. As the keys and dollar bills slipped from my hand and that last project was driven away by a stranger so to did my inspiration. I survive now only by a healthy dose of the H.A.M.B.

    Doc.

Not to Hijack the thread but this is a R&C cover form 1968. I know 3 of these cars are still in San Diego and they are still on the road.
