I’m a long time lurker, humbly posting on here for the first time. I talked to Rocky at BTT50’s and he said I should post so here I am.

First of all I have to thank Ryan for having this board, and thank all the users for being an inspiration when money, space, time, and talent have been short.

My name is Matt (username smog); I live in Sioux Falls, SD I was raised in MN in a Car restoring household-please don’t hold that against me:D - so I’ve been into cars as long as I remember. My Dad has mostly Chevrolets so I know mostly about them but I like all brands. I have liked Traditional Rods and Customs since before I heard them called Traditional so this place is the best.

The only older cars I have right now is a 46 Crosley converted pickup that needs work but being from SD thankfully its fairly rust free. My plans for it are sort of a 50’s shop truck look. The next newer vehicle I have is border-line for here but I have seen other Vans on here so its 67 Chevy-Van half –ton 108 wheel-base with the original 283, 3 speed, its been rebuilt mechanically but the paint is in need of a serious rub out, its a driver.

Favorite HAMB cars off the top of my head: the Rocky 33, Tucks roadster, Bleed’s roadster, The Roach rod, Tman’s touring, Rocky’s 41 Pontiac and many others I can’t think of right now.

Thanks again for being out there.

Got any pics of the Crozzzley? How hard is it to get a rebuildable '28 Chev head and intake?

No good pics of the crosley, its looks like a early round-side pickup without the box sides, just the fenders which are more like quarter panels.

I take it you want the 3-port head from a 28 chev,I think there were other Improvements to the 28 engines also not just the head

I would say not impossible to find, Sniff around old chevy restorers,
    Probably
cheaper than Ford banger speed parts.

I will keep a eye out for one, I have heard of this before I think but I'm not sure how easy it is to fit a chev head to a A block. I don't think you want a chev intake , they are for a updraft carb, a homemade intake might be better. I think also there is a Oldsmobile three port head out there that is supposed to fit the chev block so thats also a option(but more rare than a 28 head)
