OK, been a member here for years, just never got around to an intro... I've raced Bonneville since 1978, we built a lakester, the Bockscar, in 1984 and have been racing it regularly since then. It was wrecked beyond repair by a team member in 2017 so over the next 2 years I built it again, this time fixing all the things I complained about for 33 years. I got it back on the salt in 2020 and set a record with a 60 ci turbocharged fuel motor at 223.8. The Bockscar currently holds 10 Land Speed Records, all over 200 MPH and has put 9 team members in the 200 MPH Club. 6 of the records are NA and 4 are blown. I currently don't have a traditional hotrod, sold my 38 Packard hotrod project to make more space for a Bonneville streamliner project. I need a bigger shop!

Welcome to the HAMB from Illinois.

Your Bonneville project sounds interesting and fun.
