Hello from Western Kentucky! Twenty-five years of modified stock car fabrication starting in KC, MO and crossing the country has been exciting. Have collected parts for ten years and am now setting up shop to build some fun projects. Nailhead Buicks, Flathead Fords and straight-eights are my favorite engines. Straight axles and wire spoke wheels the way to get it on the ground! 1935 Buick Model 67 is the cruiser under construction; 1930 (INDY style) Buick 320 straight-eight speedster will be the toy. 1935 Ford speedster under construction for a friend, and 1946 Chev Panel truck (stock original) should be on the street by the end of September. Looking forward to scanning the H.A.M.B. for parts and information; always happy to help any way I can. J.C.
Welcome to the H.A.M.B. Sounds like you might be an ***et. Not many remember that the straight eights were once a force to be reckoned with!
Welcome.. As you travel thru the hamb community you will find a lot of stock car/ modified/jalopy/indy circle track racers.. Several active threads on circle racing/cars.. welcome again.... Bobby...
Good to hear about your project of the 35 Buick project. Notice your mention of a 1946 Chev. panel truck. I grew up in my dad's old panel .. Sure would like to own one. Would this one be for sale? Also I need a master cylinder for my 1936 Buick Century. Do you know where one might be? Frank 618-889-6855 flwwlf@hotmail.com
