Someone a few days ago wanted pictures of older Plymouths and Dodges, here is an in progress picture of my Brothers 32 Plymouth. After 2 1/2 years of downtime, it's getting close to driving again.

After quite a bit of driving and many years of waxing, my Brother had wore out the old, tired 327 and almost waxed thru the topcoat. It was time for an up-date and a new color. He bought a crate motor from Pace Chevrolet, had the turbo 350 trans freshened up and changed from a stock to a 2500 stall B & M Hole Shot converter. He's taken the time and effort to polish the entire stainless exhaust system, paint and rebuild or replace every piece of the car. The roof had never been filled, so they pretty much started there with the body mods, removed the cowl vents and crank out windshield mechanism, electric windows, new filled grill shell, Moon guages, hand crafted splash pans, third light, etc. The chassis is as crisp as the top side, 8" Ford rear on parallel leaf springs and a independent front end made up of Progressive and Outlaw parts, manual rack and wide white radials. I think it has a GM tilt column and he's going back to a bench seat. The car needs to be wired, glass installed and all the little time consuming stuff, before getting it's new hides. The car is tenatively scheduled into Applemen Interiors (Skipstitch also of Rev magazine fame) after the first of the year. My Brothers e-mail address is hotrod_32@charter.net give him your thoughts..................I'm the guy that got him addicted to the sport and I have to praise his latest effort from my vantage point. Trust me, this will be one of the nicest little coupes around, he'll drive the hell out of it, and you'll never see it less then perfect when he's out and about! I love it when he comes to Goodguys Columbus and stays with me, its the only time my car ever gets a good cleaning! Any specifics, ask Jim, he's the guy, along with his good friends, that have made this happen. I'm proud of what he's done and wanted to give us HAMBers a first look!

Beautiful car, thanks for posting the pics. That yellow reminds me of the old Chuck Porter body shop truck.

JC, did he keep any of the stuff he tossed and wanna sell it cheap like? I think it's either time I get some deals for my wheels or give the thing to stitch for the hassle of drivin up here after it!
