COE Old Morgan ZOO COE???

Hello

When I bought my COE from Michigan, I tried to find info of the trucks history. The sellers never contacted me about my history questions. But now when we where sandblasting the doors, a quite awesome piece of history was right in front of us! The doors had old letters painted, which came alive when the top layer of the newest paint was smoothly removed. I tried to google but I got no info about zoo Morgan T. & S. Co Inc. 1925 Blake street KE. 2709. Could it be a ZOO or is Zoo Morgans first name. Does anyone have any recollection about this Zoo or Company??? Anything helps, cause it would be nice to know something about the cars history.

Looks more like 200 than zoo to me. Did google give you any info?

then the address and PU 253 WI. i think the WI is for wisconsin so morgan wi.

 

Maybe 200 is the truck number?

That's very cool... KE 2700 would be the phone, they used to list them that way, for instance KE might stand for Keystone and speaking the phone number to someone you'd say "Keystone 2700".

Yeah, I'd buy Morgan, WI also since there is no town painted with the street address. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a Blake st in Morgan, 'smatter of fact there doesn't appear to be much at all in Morgan, WI.

There is a Morgan transportation company in Wisconsin still working, I might email him and ask if they know something. It would be awesome to get old photos etc. from the truck. Never hurts to ask.
