Hey, Yo, etc. I've been in the automotive business in one way or another for the past 40 years. Built my first hot rod when I was 17 and in high school, a '32 Ford 5 window, chopped and channeled over a '34 frame, 392 Chrysler, push****on torqueflite and '57 Olds rear on 1/4 eliptics (if I can find some pics and get them scanned I'll post them). Went through several more rods and drivers, most 354 or 392 hemi powered. Raced a hemi powered Bantam B/altered (used a 392 powered '53 F100 as a tow vehicle) then went as far as BB/FC - also worked on some dirt track cars in the northeast. I've owned a speed shop - got out when custom vans got to be "the thing". I've built and modified all kinds of ch***is from early ford to rear engined dragsters. For the last 30 years I've been in the auto machine shop end specializing in crankshaft work for about the last 20. Now I'm getting back to what I really enjoy, building a hot rod I can cruise with experienced parts and elbow grease. Hope I can share some of what I've learned along the way with all of you. Bill
