hi. this looks like a greatlace to learn and i need all kinds of learning. i hope i don't embar*** myself . sadly i don't have anything old anymore. right now i am working on a 64 rambler american convertable . adding discs up front and trying to find a right quarter panel. also have a 52 ford f-1 on a jeep ch***is. daily driver is 83 concord wagon with a surf board on top (now normal in mich).
Check with Blaser's (www.blaserauto.com) or Kennedy American (www.kennedyamerican.com) -- they might be able to help out on the convertible. If you don't have the parts for the front disc brakes yet go over to www.scarebird.com. They have a kit that fits. $185 for the kit (brackets and a pair of seal spacers), then you add parts from the local parts store to finish it off (late model Ford Ranger rotors, GM calipers). Scarebird sends a parts list with numbers, no scrounging to do! Including the cost of the kit you end up with about $400 in easy to find parts. Can't say that about the factory AMC parts needed...
