This is kinda a dumb thing to ask on here.Does anyone know if anyone still sells this decal? I'd like to buy one.
You might try Jim although there might be trade mark issues. http://www.nostalgicracingdecals.com Warren
I think reproduction decals can be found on the e-Bay Nick Sent from my Pixel XL using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
There are a few folks on eBay who offer “stickers”. I looked and looked for a real water transfer decal...couldn’t find one. Which brings to mind the question, why is it so hard to find water transfer decals?
As @wuga mentioned, there are trade-mark issues with selling reproductions on the Internet ... however vintage decals can be found on eBay ... here's a current auction:
..............Great question. I love water slide decals, but really am not fond of stickers. It must be a more involved process to make'em.
I have one like that that also has "Charter Member" on it. I quit after a year when I found out how corrupt it was.
Very few water slide decals are made anymore. I would guess that stickers are cheaper to make. There would defiantly be issues with the NHRA if made without permission, I checked the NHRA store website, what a bunch of crap! America has gone down the drain! We can't even afford to make decals anymore! LOL
I used water slides on my wagon some were vintage and some were repo. They’re available but the vintage are pricey and they will come apart. Some of the repo’s look like crap so beware. Not a fan of vinyl decals. People always comment about my travel decals on the wagon
I'll have to look around on my computer for the source but I had them made a couple years ago One for the 62 Nova One on my 34 and one he made for my 69 Camaro I remember he made the travel stickers for my battery suitcase too. I just cant find his name. I will keep looking.
I made these HAMB logo water slide stickers for one of my flash drive conversions. I didn't ask permission for the logo use, but it was a surprise gift for the chief muckety muck, so I figured he wouldn't mind. After creating the graphic, you print on a special "paper" using any quality inkjet printer. After they dry, you install like any waterslide sticker. To add some durability, I used a clear enamel over them after they were on and completely dry. You can see some degradation in the logo... which I believe was caused by trying to print them so small. Bigger should be better. I also did a large batch of waterslide stickers for a big name Mustang performance place that ordered a bunch of OT modern car flash drives from me last year.
