That definately could be it. I imagine it went through various incarnations as the years went buy, its has a super polished early corvette engine in it now. 56-60 is my guess. Thanks for looking into it for me much appreciated.

Still no Luck tracking down any more info on this car, we are almost done getting it back on the road I had hoped for some more pictures of it so we cold put it back to exactly how it was, instead of just guessing at the period correctness.

It lives got to take it for a spin today, very satisfying bringin and old girl back from certain death at the hands of a street rodder. She was slated for a Tilt colum bucket seats mag wheels and a big block....... Now she is back on the road much as she has been since 1963.

Damn that thing is cool! I'm sorry I winked out on the search a year and a half ago, I just flat got busy and forgot. I can still see the image I think it is in my head, but have not seen it again since.

You have her looking pretty good and even a bit smug I'd say. It has to be a happy roadster who finds a keeper who respects it's heritage rather than being hell bent on "upgrading".

I've always liked spring ahead front ends on channeled rods, but add the spring ahead hairpins too? That's wow.

    Nice save
