An older cousin has sent me copies of some photographs from a family photo album

There were two cars included. I wondered what makes and years they were. It might help identify when the pictures were taken.

The one of the touring car is interesting. It show a hump in the running board at the rear. I don't recall ever seeing that before.

    Thank you in advance.

The top one looks like a 1920 - 1921 Dodge. Cathedral style rear window. The hub covers look like Dodge Brothers too.

    simpler times..

  4. That hump is for the front of the rear spring found on cars where the spring mounts outside the frame.

  5. The other car looks to me to be a '28-'29 Ford.

I've looked through my Dodge book and the bottom photo, by comparing the bumper and grill badge it looks like a 31' or 32'.

  7. Call me crazy, but I think there are 3 different cars in the photos. Bumpers and license plate are different on the 2 under the building overhang.

    Road Oiler,

    Thank you for that identification.

I found using picture search that it could have been as early as 1915.

This is a great help. Now, I just need to figure out the folks in the pictures.

    Thanks again.

    Road Oiler,

I also found a 1931 front on view. I can see it is A Dodge.

Thank for the time and effort to search for me.

    Rich Venza,

    Thanks for you identification.

    I agree with Road Oiler, it is a 1930 - 1931 Dodge.

Here is a copy of the picture I found.

Indentified as a 1931 Dodge DH. Same frontal view.

    Rich Venza,

I looked closely at the photocopies that were supplied to me.

I agree that it is difficult to ascertain if both cars are the same one.

I kind of think so because the baby in some others I
have appears to be the same and the same clothes.

But, knows for sure with all the people from that era long dead.

    Thanks again for you help.
