    Worse still they never told him not to finish the bodywork and then he really broke the rules and he painted it and put in glass etc. How untraditional can you get:rolleyes:
    Don thanks for showing how it really was back in the day. It is so important to preserve this stuff and the stories that the old guys who where there can tell.:)

  4. Do you have any idea where the pictures of the roadster at the indoor show were taken? I have been doing some research on indoor hot rod shows of the 50s and 60s in our area. From my understanding there used to be a really excellent indoor hot rod and custom show in the employee gymnasium at Goodyear. I have been told there were also great shows at some of the local armories. Can anyone shed any light on this? I am yet to find anyone at Goodyear that knew anything about the shows or if they had any pictures.

    ps.....that 3 window up there a few posts ^^^^^^^ is the coolest car I have ever laid eyes on. I wonder if its still around???

    Thanks Don. Good detail shots. I dig the scalloped, hemi powered deuce roadster, the architipal hot rod.
