I had this motor built for my Gasser Project but have decided to go a different way with it. The engine is fresh, 283 bored to a 301/302, has a Duntov 30/30 spec cam, solid lifters, roller rockers, complete from oil pan to single plane intake. It has been done right by a shop here in the Wichita area that builds a lot of race engines. Heads are 1.94 camel humps, cam is degreed and valve lash is sest. Stab a distributor, bolt on a carb and off you go. These make great Hot Rod engines. I think I have more money than this in it, but I want to recover $2500 for some other things I need for my other builds. I also have a large journal 327, 300hp spec hydraulic cam, heads have been worked a bit, roller tipped rockers, small dome pistons, single plane intake. Will be the same money, would be great for a Model A or the like. Both engines will run good on pump gas. Possible delivery within a reasonable area, you know what gas prices are like...
