To all the HAMBers in the lower mainland of B.C. Canada,
I am looking for a brake shop with an old school brake lathe that would be able to machine a set of rear wide five drums. Modern brake lathes have too large an arbour to fit through the center of the hub.
My boss used to have one when he opened his shop in the 70s but chucked it when he got the big Aimco lathe that we have now.
    Any leads would be appreciated.

  2. Have you tried calling Hoegler's in Richmond? I haven't lived in the lower mainland in years but I remember them being good awhile back. If they don't they may be able to point you in the right direction.
