    I’ve got a 55 F100.

    Been planning to have my original forged axel dropped...

    Toward that end I saved a good 55 F250 forged axel just in case it was a better candidate for a drop.

    I know Sid’s a HAMB Member, maybe he’ll see this and have some feedback for me. Here’s my question for anyone who has experience with old school axel drops.;

    1) Are king pins between the 53-56 F100 / F250 different sizes?

    2) Does dropping and using an F250 axel in lieu of an F100 axel introduce any complications in a successful drop?

    3) Is there any benefit to dropping an F250 axel instead of an F250 axel?

    I am fairly confident F-100 and F-250 are the same axle/spindles.
