Great photos everone! I never get tired of seeing old signs. So much better than the backlit plastic squares you see everywhere nowadays.

 

This supermarket is about a mile away from me. The B&W shot is from a Life magazine spread from the mid to late 50s. The color shot I took a few weeks ago, shortly before the store closed down.





There's rumors about the sign be taken down, but I don't really have the room to adopt a 70 foot cornucopia.

My favorites: Georges ballroom (about 1 mile from my house), Circle Inn , and the huge Grain Belt bottle cap in MPLS. Gotta dig the Modern Cleaners too!
