and this one is for hamber "vintage roadside" also located at the Lincoln-Mercury dealership....been there since the 60's and was recently rebuilt and now working again!!

 

So cool to see one of these roto-spheres restored and spinning. Of the roughly 230 produced only about 17 are still out there and out of those only about 7 are fully functional. One of the most amazing neon signs ever created.

Those roto-speres are the bee's knees. I think there is an old youtube video of them in action. Pure genius back then...the LED will never surp*** the mystique and awesome magic of neon in my opinion.

Thanks for posting the link! The video was posted on Youtube by a friend of ours after she went down to Louisiana and met with the inventor of the rotosphere. He invented a few other signs that were just as unique. Sadly just about all of them have been s****ped.
