That's a great sign. We actually spotted a tiki building in Twin Falls, Idaho today. It wasn't open yet when we came by so not sure what the interior was like. It's called "The Cove". Are you familiar with that one?
Dude that is AWESOME! My parent's first meal after getting married by the JP in Winchester back in '57 was at the Triangle Diner!!! We had their 50th anniversary party back in 2007 and they still had some odd souvenir from the place in my Mom's jewelery box!!! I go past Winchester all the time on my way to see them (in Pittsburgh). I may have to go THROUGH Winchester some time and take some photos.
Hard to believe this was only yesterday - we spent all of today working to outrun snow all the way across Nebraska The Springs Motel in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
The Hillbilly sign outside of the Mule Trading Post. Route 66 - Rolla, Missouri. Sign restored in 2007.
I did. I'll get them posted when we get back from the road trip we're on. We're in Nashville this week but will be home the end of next week.
Man, now I want a Little Kings so bad I can taste it! But only if it tastes like it did when Schoenling made it years ago. Iron City or Falls City or whoever it was that tried making it several years back never quite got it right. Thought I read somewhere that Christian Moerlein was going to try to revive the brand again, but I've never seen proof of it around this area.
