Great thread! Here's an alignment shop in Yucca Valley,CA. The wheels rotate and wobble when it is running. Been there for years. 409 Bob
hopefully someone with some photomographical skills can get a bunch of nice pictures of the symco grounds this year
Was searching thru some of my old photos for something else and found these from a trip to Bonneville in the early 90s. Mostly from Wells, Nevada but a couple are from some other towns along the road from Reno to Wendover to Las Vegas and back to Reno. Scanned up a few more that I'll add later.
On the way down to Tiki Oasis I finally had the sky and the light cooperate on this one in Medford, OR.

This may have been posted somewhere in this thread, but here's my favorite local sign. The restaurant has existed in Portland since the late 1920s (until it closed a few couple years ago), not sure how long the sign was there, I think maybe early 80s. It's a Portland landmark (just as it is), and they finally re-erected it after it was down for a while due to renovations.
GONE?? damn I used to eat lunch/dinner there about once or twice a week for years when I had my store around the corner.......killer food and bar,plus some little hotties to wait on ya........
