Damn Dawg, how did you let that barn go unchecked?
Homies in Minnesota is steppin their game up.
On the bright side for us it just shows that these cars are not really that rare, so I'm guessing the values are going to go way down, that's how it works right, supply & demand & all that.
"Some guys have all the luck"
Oh yeah, thanks for stopping & saying hello when you where like 10 houses from my crib last week, that hurts inside.

    FOR REAL?

    NOT COOL...
Why do people gloat? This cat kinda ticks me off, I thought dude was into the stuff not just making a buck.
On the other hand at least he is not hoarding them & is willing to part w/them.
There are a ton of dudes out there & on here that do that, & just have **** to say they have it, so maybe he's not looking for "expert" opinions on here on what to do with them or help him identify something, but in his own odd way he is willing share his goods so one of us that wants to step up & lay down the greenbacks can enjoy the machines.

You see that fellow HAMBers, I just found a bright spot in all this, sure the dude is sorta lame for going about it the way he did.
Now I'll find out where he & the cars are, "distract" him & one of my ***ociates will load them up & we will be off. Stay tuned for my "robbed a motha ****a for his early V8 post". It might even make Tech Week.
    Love Cheatercarl

I don't see anywhere where he was saying they were for sale here. I don't think he's spamming. No ebay or ford barn links.
At least he liberated them. They will be available and that sure beats some of the stuff I have seen rotting outside because some dude doesn't want to part with it.

Yes but most people on here that have these type of cars know what they have, and have spent the time hunting down the car and the parts. Not just found a bunch of cars and now is are trying to make a big return at the expense of people that care about these type of cars. His first post and probably last post is to try and drum up some business. My own opinion is he should be banned and the post erased.

10 houses, thats funny, blame Chris, he didnt call anyone else to go to dinner! sorry for making you hurt inside, hopefully many men dont cause that:)

Dude, you need to relax, if it wasnt for wheelers and dealers, no cars would ever be found, they do alot of foot work to find these cars, everyone always asks me how i find so much stuff, i really dont know, i ask people and find stuff, its just that simple, people know im into them and come to me even, i know Jeff, hes a good guy, hes into early fords, just isnt ever attatched to them, ive sold him a car before, he didnt keep it long, didnt make a ton of money off me either but i dont care, i got my money out of the car and was able to move onto something else i like, some people look at me as a wheeler dealer and sometimes yes, sometimes no, i usually have a plan for a car when i get it, but find something new and decide to move on.

And he did do an intro.

When I saw Lake Park as his home town I smelled a rat.

This last winter I was going to look at a '60 Suntan Copper Bel Air for about $8k. The car got sold before I could get over to look at it...no problem, my tough luck. A week later I see the same car on eBay with a buy it now of $14k. (Car has been repainted black and is still for sale on eBay for $14k or so. It looks like *** now - looked better painted copper with the steelies IMHO) Again, no problem...a guy is en***led to make a living.

However, I DO have a problem with somebody coming on here dangling a carrot purely for commercial motives. This whole thing has been pretty bush league...again, IMHO.

    My 2 cents,

    Thor

When i first read this earlier today and made post #26 he had not posted an intro. I don't really care, every time I post to this thread just promotes his business more. He could be a swell guy, I don't know him. The thing for me is... there are new guys who come here and ask questions about projects they're working on or whatever and people jump them first thing. Tell them to read more before they post, their threads get deleted. But they genuinely want to join and contribute to the community. And lots of guys promote their goods and services through the H.A.M.B. and I really appreciate that about this place. This is a first post in the general discussion area of our forum. It shows a lack of respect for our administrators who make the H.A.M.B. what it is. I can't cut him any slack either because he's obviously computer savvy, a member of other forums, runs a web based business and should have the ability to read and follow the rules.

but he did make the effort and go back and do an intro, it happens about once a week, i see someone post with out doing an intro, get *****ed at (or asked nicely) then they usually go back and do it. just because some one is computer savvy doesnt mean they can figure this place out, i find a new way to do something ever day here.

and we really dont know his intentions yet do we? he didnt add links to his post, he didnt even post on this thread a second time yet.

everyone just pissed cause he found a few bad *** cars that we all wish we had, and didnt do and intor and buys and sells cars.

But don't you think the reason new people get jumped is they ask a question that has been answered a million times already, far as i can see, this fella never said anything about the cars being for sale, just dropped a few neat pictures of a barn full of old cars. neat to see things like this, don't think anybody would keep all these cars, of course he's going to sell them. if i'm not mistaken he even posted a few pictures of a car that is already sold, not much marketing value in that now is there?

Could it be that he's just one of them thar "fart smellers" ... er, I mean "smart fellers" from Minnesota that has figured out a clever way to cir***vent the HAMB's SPAM posting rules? ... like ***us has stated, he hasn't even posted a link to any of his eBay listings or to his website ... he let others do it for him! ... and with over 3400 views already, I think his "self promotion trick" is working.
