    I'm thinking I saw that Bill Barry Pontiac that is shown getting ready to race in these pictures at the GNRS 2010?

    Thanks....really brought back some memories. Forgot just how "over the top" some of those customs and hot rods were back then. I am (and was) a traditionalist and just didn't care for the garishness of some of that stuff. But, that's what the car show had become...more's the pity.

    Slides of the drags at Carlsbad were excellent.

    These slides were found by a fellow slot car enthusiast. He did a great job with the slideshow. Yes, it was an awsome find, and it's good to know they have been preserved!!
