Does anyone know where i can get something like these or these ?? Just bolt on to the spindle skinny wheels ?? http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/2295/p31400493yr.jpg
if you put a set of those on your car let me know what braking is like. are you planning on running them on a street driven car?
Real ones or new ones? Radir is making new ones. http://www.radirwheels.com/contents.htm For real magnesium you need to hit the swap meets the HAMB cl***ifieds and Ebay. They are pricey...
http://www.radirwheels.com/12spoke.htm check 'em out, $900 for 2. might be able to find decent old ones at swap meets if that $900 price tag left you as shocked as it did me! good luck!
If you find a set at a swap meet they might be a little cheaper than Radirs but not a lot (unless you fine one of the elusive "deals") . Then you gotta figure out if they are for Ford spindles, Anglia spindles or (maybe) Willys spindles. If you end up with a set for Anglia spindles, they're kinda tough to put on Ford spindles. You might want to do a board search for spindle mount.
I bought a set of Radirs and am 100% satisfied. I don't run front brakes but I believe Radir said these wheels would work with discs. Unless you like the look of patina'd magnesium, or really enjoy the upkeep magnesium requires to stay polished, I'd go with Radirs. After the time and materials spent on my old mag versions, I would have been better of getting Radirs in the first place.
