Thanks Hudson, Different chassis, un-channeled one? could be A or 32...That grille looks well done much like the Rad...They were probably sectioned together...
So do you believe it was another 32 channeled...that would be less complicated... I sure haven't seen that many hoods with scoops like that...And if it did have a roll bar it was chassis up probably a single seat...all that chrome sure would stand out that's for sure...
Thats really well done and kind of unique too is that fabbed of speed shop...those bars look...Its nice the hood clears the engine and it will get air through the scoop...are you talking side panels? How does the hood pin or bolt to the frame?
That's a nice Hotrod... Whats that sticking out like a Jalopy side crash bar the exhaust? If it had side hood panels they might be solid, fabbed with a couple rows or louvers and maybe exhaust out the side hood...Chopped windshield posts?
Am curious, you mention that you believe the car was wrecked on the passenger side and the chassis replaced. Is this from information received from the previous owners or from observation? Also, have you checked the radiator for a manufacturer's tag or part number?, reason being is it may point to the type of engine once used. In other words, if the radiator is of European origin the engine once used may also be from Europe. Knowing the engine once used may help determine the car's history.
Has a late 40's look to the front of the car. Really nicely chopped grille shell to match the channel.
Pretty sure he sold this one. This last year he’s had a chain of unbelievable real old hot rods in his driveway, selling one to get the next. I think right now he’s got an old T roadster that was a show/race car, a super fucking cool roadster pickup, and he just brought home a legit barn/ shop find 40’s custom that he’s been working to get for year/s guy stays busy!
