  2. You can buy these pumps new from aircraft supply companies. Look for Ki-Gas.

I think the Ki-gas and other aviation devices mentioned are primers, little hand fuel pumps that give the engine a shot of gas for startup.
The pumps here are really air pumps, not much different from a hand tire pump, that pressurize a sealed gastank to propel the gas where needed.

CoalTownKid, A HAMB friend of mine - "Moe Speed" makes these. He can do side mounted or dash mounted. His are fresh built but look and work like the old ones. He does not answer PM's. If interested call Moe at 818-842-3590.

Not too far OT I hope, I've always thought it would be fun to have a hand pump like this mounted under the dash or the "riding mechanic" side of a roadster, but it would be plumbed instead to a small air horn trumpet (like Harpo had) in a concealed location on the frame some place. In essence, the hand pump would replace that big rubber squeeze bulb. It could be fun inappropriate times. Gary

How were these set up? How much pressure? Did they still use a primary fuel tank and pump in g***er cl***es where a car might be driven to the track? Were they different for injection vs carb?
