'35 or '36 rock 4-door as shot by Walfreid Jansen Photography of Manitoba on ImageHunters/SmugBug.
Wally's a retired chemist, now enjoying his passion for photographing natural beauty and art in its
many forms. He has numerous portfolios by subject on the 'net. I'm trying to find a way to contact him
and get his blessing to show more of his material here. But not being a techie, I'm having trouble find-
ing a contact point. Any help from you more computer-astute folks would be helpful.

Yeah! LOL. :D One thing for sure, though, if you owned a Frazer, nobody would mistake it for anything else, right?

Here's a super yard, but I don't know the location. Sure would love to have the '46 DeSoto business coupe!

Almost looks like an early 1980's Minnesota plate on the front of the 59 Ford to the far left.....

You may be onto it there. Has the look of Northern Plains and west-of-the-Mississippi territory, doesn't it?

I'd be tempted to run the DeS sans nose and load 'er up with a Hemi or big-block MoPar!

And I wish the '64/5 Valiant were more complete. Those light Valiants were keen rides, and if you swapped in a Barracuda driveline, and detailed it out right, that could be a show-stopper.

Thanks, man. That's what I was thinking too, since it's probably the most notable (and HUGE) spot in MN. But I'm not from Minnesota, so I figured another HAMBer would pipe up when they saw that photo. Big THANKS!

  15. Indeed I do remember those and also the gas ration cards that were four cornered and you kept them on the inside of the windshield so the guy at the gas station could see if you were allowed to purchase fuel.

THANKS for signing on, man. :D THIS is one of the things I like about the HAMB. It makes us all like guys and gals living in the same little town:cool:, regardless of whether we're in Ohi-ya, or California, in Saskatchewan or in one of the Dakotas! ;)

David, THANKS for posting, man. You had to be a little excited finding this old hopped-up
GM! The first photo here is practically a classic. You used the well-timed sunlight
swell to highlight a pretty unique set of louvers!

This V8 mill is amazing, though I'm no GM guy. I'm frankly stumped!
My wag is flat Cad, about '47. Fire away!

Thanks jimi'shemi291.the flathead was in the white car.the sticker said white Pontiac 1950 but that could be wrong.the hood immediadly caught my attention,it looked like it took some body quite a while to make it look as cool as it Is and now it's sittng in a junkyard awaiting it's fate at the hands of a crusher. the looks of the car it looks like it was stored it a garage with the nose sticking out it's in great shape and I bet if somebody wanted it that old flathead might even still run.even the paint was in good shape besides the nose and the best part almost no rust.

I love a stumper, and THIS one stumps me! '38 Stude, but WHAT MODEL? The headlight
pods are the stopper for me. They have an almost Willys look, don't you think? These
pix are from a large oldie portfolio by CarPhoto, Richard Spiegelman. He shot these in 1983
at Elliot Brothers' yard, Newtonville, ON. I believe he said he shot and wrote up several yards
for car publications. Go look his material up on FlickR. You'll be there a loooong time en-
    joying the virtual tours!

Some keen detail shots by Richard Spiegelman (CarPhoto), taken at McLean Brothers'
    Wrecking Yard, Ontario, in '10.
