Welcome to the HAMB skipperbob. WOW, 30 years and with your own vehicle! I don't have that many years but I do remember when we had to use our own vehicles. I like using the USPS LLV instead of my own now. I guess you were a Rural Carrier and that is what I am...... You will like this place, great people.....
Welcome to the HAMB. My grandfather was a rural mail carrier in East Texas for many years. He drove Model A Fords as long as he could find a decent one because it was narrow enough to reach the mailbox without having to drive from the p***enger side.

I'm glad I didn't have to drive the LLV... I live in the snow belt of NYS and I was glad I had my 4wheel drive! Still have friends who deliver with the LLV and they hate them in winter!
Got out of school and had no idea what I wanted... drove cab for eight years and then rural delivery for thirty... I still love to drive but on my own terms, looks bad out... I stay in! Not really a car nut but have always enjoyed history and love the old autos when they really had some character to them!
