I'm sure this is a thread somewhere but I can't find it. Any body know where you can get the old style plaid seat cover kits ?

they are on ebay all the time... just a matter of hitting it at the right time to find one that fits your car.

It doesn't necessarily need to fit your seat. This was cut down from a $15 flea market find in the box. The no fold 4 Dr sets work well for this style seat. You might be able to get by with a sedan rear seat cover. This is an original Deuce coupe seat.

    This thread made me remember.....

My grandfather used to have these clear vinyl seat covers with the "diamond tread" molded into it.

    Anybody seen these around lately?

Sorry to sidetrack, but I have been asked a lot of questions. Most all of the covers I have are not labeled as to what they fit. They have a part number, but I don't have a guide. I have listed them with basic measurements, that's the only way I can describe them.

They are new in the original box.

  8. No, but I remember they would be super freakin' cold in the winter...my dad also had the non diamond tread ones that were smooth and it was like riding around on teflon and if you weren't wearing safety belts (who was?) you would slide from side to side and hopefully you wouldn't get squashed by your fat cousin when your dad turned the corner...

Kirk, do you have any of the seat covers left. I missed out on the ebay auction. Please let me know either on here or by email @ psych111280@sbcglobal.net. If anyone else out there has any seat covers for a 2 door 54 chevy I am in the market.
