Old Tin found in Woods,bushes,behind a barn etc lets see the pics maybe even before a

1933 Chevy, former oval track stock car. We rescued it from the woods after it laid there about 30 years or so:

My 51 F1 found in a barn in Iowa. Town was so small it had dirt roads leading into it.

 

Brought this 1931 Model A Tudor pile home yesterday, the last part of a yard clean out.

 

That's a Plymouth, I bellieve. '40-'41 or so. Not a Chevy.

found these two in an old garage that was literally falling down. took the pics with my cell phone with my hand stuck through a broken window. now the whole garage is gone and a brand new metal pole barn built in it's place. don't know if the cars are inside the new one or gone. couldn't find an owner.

 

I found this '51 Austin A40 Sports (aluminum body) in a farmer's junk pile.

It was hard to figure this one out, but I got it.. 34 olds. No secret where this one is.... on a hiking trail 5 miles into the woods at Glorieta, NM.

 

I ran across this one totally by accident, I was at our county fair and this old guy starts talking to me, seen I was reading a copy of Hot Rod and asked if I like old cars,.... said he bought this car a long time ago and was going to restore it, but found out someone put a different engine in it so it wasn't worth anything,........ He said he pulled the car out of his barn in the spring and it sat outside all summer,..... and he said he had all the parts for it, gl*** and all,...
I had to give him what he paid for it , The engine is a 289/C-4 and it's a nice installation.

 

The hood on the ground is how much I pissed when I found this frame.

 

These were taken by me about 15 years ago with a "110 Kodak Pocket Camera" remember those ?

 

Here's a 30's Packard cabriolet and 4 door sedan. I don't own them, but I'm tryin' to convince the owener to let the cabriolet/ roadster go.

A 30 crysler 3 window...well whats left of it.

 

A late 20's international truck and a couple of banjos.

 

I met a lady at lunch and struck up a conversation. She told me of her car which had been sitting for 30 years in her garage. She lived three minutes from my house. Its a 1940 Buick Limited, top-o-the-line, dual side mounts, less than 4000 made. All there.

 

Lots of misc. Years and makes, we were told had we been there 4 or 5 years earlier, we could of had our pic of a and t coupes and sedans.....dammmmmit!!
