I got a box of old tools when I bought a 36 5 window coupe. Could any help with the usage? I plan on rebuilding a merc flathead and these could be useful. Thanks for the help. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

#3 looks like a ring groove cleaner.
#4 &5 may be valve spring compressors.

Last two pictures. All Power spring compressor that allows you to assemble that valve assembly with the guide and keeper as a unit. The last picture is a KD Tools valve guide remover. Once have removed the horseshoe clip, this tool pushes the guide assembly out of the top of the block. The first picture looks like a piston ring groove cleaner.

1 and 3 are ring groove cleaners. 2 is a valve spring compressor commonly used on inline flathead engines. 4 is a valve spring compressor and 5 is the afore mentioned valve guide remover for flathead v8.
