Old UPS Chevy Panel Delivery Truck

Not long after UPS expanded into Charlotte I was driving a tractor-trailer over the road and a family friend went to work there in management. I applied for a job and thought I was a shoe-in. Wrong! It hurt my feelings but didn't matter in the long run. I went into the collector car business 45 years ago. When Federal Express came to Charlotte a few years later my brother, who was driving to the west coast with a team mate, applied for a job hoping to drive locally. He was hired and worked there for over 30 years. He was #3 in Charlotte seniority when he retired.
