  1. And they were from the '58 full size car and were used thru '67. The date on all the lense will read 58.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Yup still 265 210 HP, single WCFB and Powerglide. Reading up on it I think there was only two hundred and change with that combo, everyone wanted the 2x4 setup. Like they say just cuz its rare doesn't mean valuable or desirable.
My dad blew up the original motor, so the block isn't "correct" but everything else has original numbers, this block is bored 30 over. The 210 HP came with regular stamped steel painted valve covers but my had them chromed.
Milestone coming up, about to turn 100,000 miles. Ok no matter what I tried the speedometer
picture would not upload anyway but sideways, maybe someone can fix that (please).

Still gathering parts, and we have a line on a sixth ‘54…At some point they all will be available for sale but we are not in a hurry to part with the 54’s…

’63 convertible project is available now but not advertised yet…

  19. 54’s going to be stock numbers cars or?

Can I play?? I always wanted a '62 Corvette.....loved the styling. Never thought I'd be able to afford one, let alone own one, but when a '61 Corvette came available.....I couldn't pass it up. It was the deal for me, and I jumped on it. Car had a 327 and cast iron powerglide transmission installed by PO, and missing parts that I didn't realize until later. Once I got it, put a Muncie 4 speed behind the 327 and had fun driving it for a while. That was until I blew up the 327 a few years ago. Now have a new bullet ready to get installed back in it, and hope to be back on the road this summer. Solid Axles Rule!!!!

  21. Had some old Vettes, first a '62 in 1977. My wife's driver for 15 years. Now I have a '58 ex-drag car from the 60s & 70s. My friend bought with no drivetrain 1974. He stripped, painted, upholstered, all new chrome from GM, built a 327 with LT1 heads and cam. Super T10, stock style 4:11 posi. Has both tops.

Show car in 70's & 80's. I first saw and tried to buy in 1990. Ended up being friends with the owner so I pestered him for 25 years. He passed away a while back then 5 years ago I bought from his widow.

(I'm takin' good care of your car buddy but made some minor changes)

Thank you. The color draws a lot of attention from the female persuasion, heaven knows it's not me that's
    catching their eye.

That much I knew but can you imagine the horror if I called a Corvette hood that in front of an owner?

When the OP said "Old Vette Owners" you all assumed me meant Owners of Old Vettes. But that is not e x a c t l y what he asked for.
