Not amazing at all, haven't you ever visited an old junkyard and seen everything from Crosleys to Cadillac crumpled up in little or big balls from collisions from every which angle? Crash Survivability does increase in larger vehicles but not older ones where the ones they were crashing into were just the same size.
Modern vehicles are so far advanced the cars we mess with might as well have foot power and stone rollers with dinosaur-skin convertible tops like you know who mobiles. Take advantage of the good things and enjoy the old things as always.
