Time has been kind to my 49. The rear fenders were repainted many decades ago, but the rest is original. Up close you can see more of the imperfections, but not a bad looker from 15'.
76 Years of patina - As found. I expect that it will clean up and have some shine. I like the look of the pock-marked headlight buckets. That's not me in the photos - that is the prior owner.
Here's my old 50. I've posted this pic before but a long time ago. This car has been laid up for a few years but I'm gonna bring it back this year. I hope anyway. It's not on original paint but what's on there is old and weathered! LOL! Sorry if some of you have seen this pic before. I call this car "uncle chet" because the first time I drove it to work a gal I worked with say's "my Uncle Chet had a car just like that!". And it's been uncle chet ever since and me too. It was all stock when I got it. I lowered it, new wheels and tires, headers and duals, and louvers. Plus all the usual fix it up stuff. It's a fun car.
I really like that Tudor. Too bad they don't have the hood and grille to match. Where's that car from?
Nice thread never saw it before! I think my F-1 can fit in. Original paint, never been repainted, no putty (at all) probably pin stripped in the 60's or early 70's I'm not sure! Not finished yet but closer! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Left after a little wash and wax. Right was what it was. Sent from my XT1585 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
