IMG_0745.jpeg I want to remove my rocker arms and shaft. Will removing the top head bolts mess up my head gasket?

Don’t claim to know nothing about nothing but I’d drain the coolant, leave sit for a couple hours then crack all the head bolts, remove the shaft bolts, do whatever you have to do then reinstall the shaft and bolts carefully and tighten sequentially until snug and then torque all bolts in order. Don’t know the sop but just what I’d do

Looked at my 52 manual and this is what GM says about removing lifters doesn't say anything about sequences

It looks like you’ve done some work on the engine recently, it’s all clean inside. Did you replace the head gaskets recently? If so, I wouldn’t worry about pulling those bolts and removing the rocker arms. Just put it back together and torque the bolts. Maybe heat cycle it once or twice and retorque all of the head bolts.
I’ve done it a few times over the years with no problems.
