Olds 394 flexplate to converter problem

    i have seen something simler to this a friend did it. Question when you removed the bolts from flexplate to torus bowl did you put the nuts and bolts back in torus bowl and tigheten them so you wouldmt loose them. and if so did you rember to take the nut back off befor instelation. I couldent see it good enough in your picture.

    Well, it seems like the problem is inside the transmission.
    A friend who was under the car when I turned the engine said that the transmission turned a little, but it didn't.

    The transmission doesn't turn at all, it turned when we removed the engine from the car. I guess something broke in the transmission when we did the first attemp to install the engine in the car after rebuild.

    What can be broken inside the Jetaway transmission then?

    Could be front pump, or the planetary that the torus cover drives.
