I am looking for an olds "batwing" air cleaner (if that's the proper name for them). I have found them powder coated black but, I am going to be painting it to match the rest of the engine and was hoping to find one in bare metal or painted for ease of stripping. Anyone know where I can get one or does someone have one they'd be willing to part with? If there are small amounts of metal work to be done that would be okay too. Thanks!
google " technostalgia " .... good product . I have one of theirs on my '53 F100 and also have a genuine Caddy one , side by side they are hard to pick apart . .

yes, batwing is not the proper word. strip the powdercoat?? sand it out and do a good job of it and its the best "primer" there is
Brady, if you're looking for one with the oil bath, PM me. I'm sure we can work something out. Thanks for the plug Martin!
