This is aftermarket. There is also an aftermarket that has a "checkmark" on the planets, looks very similar to OEM

I just scored these at a thrift shop today. Based on the thread I'm ***uming they're aftermarket. Any help?

Yep, they sure are. Lots of places were selling knock offs like yours, JC Whitney, etc.

The aftermarkets are usually chromed steel. So they rust easily. Originals are stainless. As are the new, quality repos.
On the 53-55's, it's interesting that the originals have the earth (not Saturn) with a view of North/South America, while aftermarkets have Europe/Asia/Africa view!
