    an olds rocket st trany is it any good or other olds tranys. any one know any thing about em. ???

    It will be good enough for anything your building. I run a bored stroked blown 324 but then again I use a L***ale. Never mind. Yes it will hold up.

    A '50 is much more desireable than a '51 or newer, since the newer gearboxes have an unorthodox shifting setup that floor shift conversions haven't been made for for years.
