1952-59 Ford Olds taillight

    Do you have the tech for frenching the 1955 Olds 88 taillight for my '54 customline????

    I haven't seen one but I am sure it will be pretty much like a headlight or single tail light . I don't think their is a kit to make one so you will need to make it from scratch .
    I would just place the 55 Old light in the hole till you find out how deep you want it . Then take thin cardboard from many a cereal box to make a housing from . Then see how it looks . If it looks good the use some thinner sheet metal to make the housing or use fibergl*** to make the housing and go from there .
    It really would look nice sitting back on the hole like that .

    Follow missysdad's build. I looked at his pics and mine came out perfect. basically you take out the bucket, put bolts in from the backside and bolt them in, then you weld the trim rings to the car and the whole light ***embly just bolts in from the trunk. It's actually very easy. Just be careful when you're welding and grinding so you don't gauge or warp everything back there. If you search my name on here you can see the pictures from one of my build threads. I did 54 Olds tail lights. But like I said before, Missysdad's post is awesome and full of info.
